International Symposium on the Introduction of Fuel Cells to Early Markets

discussing the socio-economical & technical aspects of the introduction of fuel cell systems to early markets

Objectives

Fuel cell systems are gradually becoming visible as products in so called Early Markets. The symposium aims at discussing on an international level the following socio-economical and technical aspects related to:

  • National strategies of different IPHE member countries to support market preparation and market introduction of fuel cells,
  • Socio-economical and technical aspects of a wide deployment of stationary fuel cells ,
  • Current market barriers, market requirements and status Quo
  • Fuel logistics,
  • Tools & best practice for design, installation and operation,
  • Public awareness and training needs,
  • Standardization, regulation and technical guidelines.

The symposium aims at gathering participants from end users, developers, and scientists from industry and academia and particularly at the users of these plants like energy suppliers, at decision makers from communities, authorities and standardization bodies.

Sessions will be held on the aspects of:

  • National & international strategies adopted
  • Market barriers
  • Market requirements & oportunities
  • Fuel logistics

Call for Contributions

One page abstracts for contributions shall be submitted no later than June 30th 2010 to the technical contact persons G. Tsotridis, E. Konstantinidou, or L. Jörissen.
